Cog Buyer Protection
Every purchase on Cog is covered. If something goes wrong, we'll make it right.
What's covered
- Item not received — if your item never arrives and the seller can't provide tracking evidence, you'll receive a full refund.
- Significantly not as described — if the item is materially different from the listing (wrong size, hidden damage, counterfeit), contact us within 3 days of delivery.
- Arrived damaged — if the item was damaged in transit, we'll work with you and the seller to resolve it.
How to open a dispute
- Contact the seller first via the offer message thread — most issues are resolved this way.
- If unresolved within 48 hours, email info@thecog.fit with your order details and photos.
- We'll review the case within 2 business days and issue a decision.
What's not covered
- Purchases made outside of Cog (bank transfer, cash, etc.)
- Items that match the listing description but weren't what you expected
- Disputes raised more than 14 days after delivery
- Buyer's remorse or change of mind
Fees
Cog Buyer Protection is included at no extra cost on all purchases made through our Stripe checkout. There is no fee to open a dispute.
